Biography of Mr. Abdulaziz Alrasheed

Abdulaziz Alrasheed is a non-executive member of the Board of Directors. He progressed in his career with several leadership positions; he is the former Assistant Minister for Macro Fiscal Policies & International Relations. He was also the Saudi Sherpa at G20 of 2021-2022; in addition to his previous role as a Deputy Minister for Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Economy & Planning (2017).

Alrasheed is a member of the Board of Directors to a number of local and regional entities including the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), General Authority for Statistics, National Center for Privatization, Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, General Authority for Real Estate, Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SDFA) and the Saudi Export Development Authority.

Alrasheed earned his Bachelor of Economics degree from Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University (IMSIU) and started his career in the field of education. He later completed several advanced courses in strategic leadership and economic development at Oxford, Harvard, and other international renowned institutions. He also completed his postgraduate degree in Economics at the University of Oregon in 2002.
